In a hurry

My dear Christmas, you're my favorite and you know how much I love you. But please, don't come in a rush, I have lots of things to do before we can see each other. I want to enjoy the moment I'll spend with you so please bear with me, give me enough time to finish my school works and extra curricular activities. I want to be pretty and awesome on your special day, I don't want you to see me wasted so don't be in a hurry. Here's my to-do-list before you arrive, wait for me to finish those. I love you Christmas.

Thesis- You're my other love. We're doing our best so that you'll be the best. Please cooperate, let's do the concrete mix na. Nice experiment results, wag na kayong pa hard to get. Nagseselos na si paper works, kinakalimutan na namin sya.

On the Job Training- I'm excited to know you. I'll see you soon with my girlfriends. I just hope that tomorrow, I can finish working on the requirements you want so I can be with you as soon as possible. In 150 hours that we'll be together, I know that it will be full of fun learning experience. Civil Engineering, you're my true love.

Special Topics- What preparations I need to do so that we'll be happy together? I wanna get close to you as early as now. Reviewing for board exam is cool because of you. I'm so blessed to have you, thanks for being so helpful, you're very important to me.
Oh common Jez, finish your blog, so you can rewrite your notes in Engineering Math na.

Prelim Exams-Hey sweetie,are you near? Please make me feel ready. I want high grades, I want you to be proud, I want you to be happy.

Physics tutorial-I would love to tutor my cousin in Physics. Hmmm...Maybe on Saturday night. Study + bonding + slumber party = awesomeness.

Tita's homecoming- Yehey! My aunt will be back from abroad. Need to clean the house, finish accounting, and prepare the welcome back banner. I missed her. Love you Tita.

C.E.Christmas Party-I heard that you want a wonderful presentation number. We want it too, we like to be exempted in exam also, but more than that, C.E. people wants to have fun with you. See you in a bit.

Nixters/Nillys Christmas Party- Celebrating holiday season with Nikki, Billy, and my Nixters/Nillys friends sounds awesome. This will be my first time. It will be surely full of happiness. Yehey.

Sponge Cola/Hale/Archipelago Christmas Party- Another first time. I've been an active lister this year so it would be nice to spend a party with them and thank the bands and the listers for the friendship they've shared to me.

Gah! My babies facebook, twitter, blogger, multiply, and yahoomail, I need your cooperation for a week. I need to manage my time well. Force leave muna sa mga business ko, my farm and my restaurant. My charming pets, please understand, I love you all but I should balance my time, priorities ko muna yung all of the above ha, especially school works. Promise, I'll be back. Cooler and better.

When I get acquainted with Nikki Gil, she's one of the pretty single lady on television. After few years, Billy Crawford came to her life and now they're one of the cutest and sweetest couple in showbiz.



When I knew Edward Cullen, he's a single vampire for decades, and as I turned the pages of Twilight, he has found his Bella Swan, his one great love.



When I knew Troy Bolton, he is a cute, popular single high school guy, as the movie plays, he met the pretty and talented Gabriella Montez. They have shared the joys of teenage love. In real life Zac and Vanessa are still very in love after the High School Musical series.




Carl is a typical adventurous kid, and as the story goes by, he met Ellie, the exploratory girl. They had the same interests, and enjoyed being together as they grow up.Eventually they became sweethearts, and shared their dreams as they grow old. Disney Pixar's UP love,love,love.



When I met Champ Lui Pio, he's a single, handsome, awesome musician. As days goes by, I heard that Bianca King is officially her girlfriend. They look good together and I admire the way they support each others talent.

When I met Yael Yuzon, I am certainly sure that he is single, but after a few weeks, I found out that he and Lia Cruz got back together which made them felt that love is lovelier the second time around. I witnessed personally and in twitter their cute, mushy sweetness, just like teenagers.





When I knew the good looking Atom Araullo, I thought he is single, suddenly I discovered that he is in a relationship with beautiful Patty Laurel. Their dweeb loving is now on it's third year and still counting. They have shared a wonderful love story and still creating cool memories together.

It is very wonderful that the people I love has beautiful love stories. I called them before as my favorite people and eventually those people has found their life partners that made me now called them as my favorite couples. They're love story was so ideal that I dream to have one like that too someday. :) I love you NikkiBilly, EdwardBella, TroyGab/ZacVanessa, CarlEllie, ChampBianca, YaelLia, AtomPatty.

Nikki Gil

I can’t remember when I started to love her but I certainly know the reason why, it is because her life touches mine. I woke up one day telling to myself that I love Nikki. Just like others, I’m also one of the people who had last song syndrome after hearing the song “Sana” from the Coke commercial. There is perfect combination of lyrics and melody that made the song appealing, and of course, the singer did a great job. Then there was another song that became popular in the commercial, it is an inspiring song entitled “Glowing Inside” which also gave me last song syndrome days. I was fascinated with those songs without knowing that the one who sang those was the same, and she was Ms.Nikki Gil. Great, awesome songs! Being a music lover, I appreciated those stuff done by Nikki. There was one time when I am reviewing her projects and realized that she hasn’t been doing some acting stuff since she entered the showbiz industry. Until, gotcha! There she is in the acting world, she suddenly appear while I’m watching a teleserye. That was the first time I felt the connection. Yes, I said to myself that I like her. Other projects came to her, I’ve been watching those. I became curious about her, just as I am with the other artists, until I found myself focusing more about her life. I’ve been into net surfing, newspaper and magazine reading about her. Nikki--pretty, sweet, spontaneous, funny, that’s why I am always watching her shows, especially in interviews, hosting and spiels because it showcases more of her true personality. Of course I also followed her singing and acting career, Nikki is a good performer! I was also very happy when she did High School Musical thing because I love the said movie. Then Billy Crawford came to her life, I find them as cute tandem. I first saw Nikki in Trinoma, hosting the MYX VJ Search 08 Finals. She is astoundingly beautiful. Starstrucked by her, I find way to search for the Nixters (Nikki’s fans club or should I say good friends and supporters), because I’ve decided that I’ll be supporting her all the way starting that day. I had a hard time looking for Nixters, until one day while watching her MYX Daily Top 10, a texter asks her how to be a Nixter. And that’s it! Nikki is the reason why I discovered the official forum of Nixters. She answered my long time question on how I can be an official Nixter, and I am a proud one now. Nikki is one of the reasons behind my smiles. =) To Nikki: Your life, talent, and personality bring good influence and optimism in my life. Thanks for always making me happy; you are my idol, my inspiration. As I continue my Nixter life, I’ll definitely support and love Monica Pauline Santos Gil at all times.

My Ideal Man

He is simply Atom Araullo. I wish to find someone like him someday--smart, handsome, intelligent, kindhearted, talented, athletic, has a sense of humor, and loves his girlfriend so much! :)

One for Hale,Hale for all =)

They caught my attention ever since the first single because of the catchy sound of their music. And it was the man on vocals that made me became more interested. I easily appreciated “Broken Sonnet” because of its beautiful melody. Thus, I find myself always tuning in the station whenever the song is playing. But the syndrome started when “The Day You Said Goodnight” was released and soon became popular. That was the time when I felt that a part of me belongs to HALE. Since then, I started searching and reading articles about the band. I was so glad when I found out that my cousins love them too. Thus, the opportunity to watch Hale perform came. I was with my cousin when I first saw the band. It was the Listers Grand Eyeball at Aliw Theater. Of course, first times are always memorable. I remember, we are the early birds in the venue and gotcha, we saw Champ and Sheldon coming. Meet and greet plus picture opportunity. That was so happy, unforgettable moment, feels like I’m on a high. It was officially the beginning of my Haler life. I started availing their albums, meeting co-Halers, watching gigs/concerts, reading more articles about them, watching out for the music videos, and especially listening to the music they create. I enjoy being a fan, being friends of Hale. Today, I continue to support the band, as always I am updating myself on what’s latest about them. Hale certainly knows how to make Halers smile. =) Champ, Sheldon, Roll, Omnie/Pao---HALE, my inspiration. I am pleased to say: “One for Hale, Hale for all.”

Confessions of a Frustrated Blogger

As I walked in a bookstore, I found a magazine that featured an article on "How to start a blog?” I have passion for writing, but I only write when I feel like I want to, it take months for me to come up with a topic. When I was young, I had diaries, I wrote poems and stories, and I composed songs. The creative side in me started early. But to my regret, I never pursued it. I never tried joining any journal clubs, or even submit articles; the main reason is because I didn’t find my write ups that appealing. At 19, I hope I can write an article for a magazine/journal, and talking about bigger dream, someday, I would like to publish a book. I’ve wrote random blogs in different sites. I love writing. I like to express my feelings and thoughts through blogs. My problem was I never maintained those sites. I posted blogs, but after few weeks, as I read it again, I felt timid on what I’ve written. I felt that my topics were dull and boring. I always wanted to come up with a subject that one could relate or appreciate. But now my point of view changes, this is my blog, there’s no rule in blogging, this is mine, this is about me, this is about my opinions, and this is spontaneous. As Patty Laurel’s blog site says “Come waste time with me.” Thus, I’ve make up my mind that I should maintain this site. I was so inspired by my favorite people’s blogs (Patty Laurel, Bianca Gonzalez, Lia Cruz) and of course lovely people from our clan (Tita Mirla, Ate Tats, Ate Apol, and Ate Andrei), see how creative writing talent runs in the family. They were really good in writing, they’re words are perfect enough for a cool, interesting article. Therefore, I’ve decided to pursue the craft. This will help me to practice and develop my writing skills, which is by the way I really need because I’m currently on process of thesis writing. Right now, I have lots of topics I want to talk about through blog, I’m looking forward to post those and see how my writing skills will improve. I know this is an effective way of learning. This could be the first step as I pursue my writing career. Now, my dilemma is how to end up this blog, so I guess I’ll finish it here.

Slow Down

Since I was a child, I considered myself as a music lover. Up to this day, I am a typical teenager who appreciate OPM bands. I never thought I would major love them, that I found myself as a fan turned stalker.

The early days was "What I see, is what I get", but when I got starstruck by Yael Yuzon, vocalist of Sponge Cola, my fanatic lifestyle became "The more I research, the more I can get." I guess that was the start of my life as a stalker. The early gig moments was exciting and fun filled, especially when I get the chance to talk to them and take pictures with them. There were times that I attend two gigs per week. I never regret those days that the band made me happy, the days when they let me feel that I'm a friend, and not just an ordinary fan. Of course, I get the chance to meet co-listers, wherein we called ourselves as gig mates, the friendship we built is truly treasured. During those times, I'm always present when there's a gig around the metro. Even though it would be my first time to go to a certain place, I would make efforts just to know where it is, because I know I'll be happy.

One day, I felt everything has changed, I can't decide immediately if I'll attend the gig though the location is few meters away from me. That happened when I felt my study habits was suffering, when I felt afraid as I go home late, when I refuse to join my barkada in a hang out because I'm going to attend a gig the next day, when I spend lots of cash as I travel to different places. Since then I decided just to slow down,to say no. A gig mate once told me,when we were deciding whether or not to attend the gig "Parang ngayon ko nararamdaman yung pagod, parang sayang yung efforts kasi hindi naman natin sila masyado nakakausap." After sharing our dilemmas, I tried to ignore gig scheds, and I felt fulfilled when I can't miss the band, and when I don't envy my gigmates who have attended the gigs.I overcome my attachment to them. It's back to normal, I'm now once a stalker, and now back to being a proud supporter. It felt so good that I had take it slow.

Anyway, I would like to thank the band for appreciating me the way I appreciate them, and especially the gig mates who'll forever be my friends.To my favorite band members, Yael of Sponge Cola, Yan of Pupil/Archipelago, Champ of Hale, thank you for making my fanatic life such an awesome experience. I'll see you in next gigs.
