Project 30 Day Blog 4/30

Day 04 - A habit that you wish you didn’t have

I'm not an aficionado of cramming but I'm always a "mamaya na" girl. Get my point? Ok. Nothing more to say. Proceed to writing your next blog, Jez. Ay mamaya na lang. :-V

Not a child

I miss being a child. No one stresses you out. No pressure from the people around you. No deadlines. You can sleep all you want. You can play whenever you want to. You won't be thinking problems. You can't feel the weight of the world. Everyone understands you because you're simply a child. But, I'm a grown up now. Sigh.

One Year

I woke up today differently. I felt there's something special. I check the calendar and it's 17th of September. On my way to the office alone, Aha, I figured what's happening today. Happy anniversary on being in love with you. It's been a year of hoping to see you somewhere. We could have been at the same place at the same time but we were not so destined to meet. Damn. Come on my way sooner. Come to my heart quickly. La la la la. Yah right, Jez, looser. Hopeless romantic. I honestly miss the feeling of being in love. Future boyfriend, pakibilis.

Other side of kwento: Mr.LoveatFirstSight is a LaSallian (I believe) and it's so timing that DLSU won 2nd place in Samsung UAAP Cheerdance Competition. Today, Sept.17, a year ago when I first laid eyes on you. I miss you.

Day 03 - A picture of you and your friends

Meet my newest family, the CCD-BD team. CCD stands for Customer Care Department while BD is Business Development. We had the same department head, thus, we are inseparable during birthday treats and night-outs.I am with them for 5 months now and I guess I'll continue counting. I am real grateful to work with them. A mixture of amazing, fun to be with, intelligent individuals. Most of us are engineers and they get to share things I must know in our profession. It's a fresh, good start. Thank GOD I',m learning everyday. I may not have fulfilled my Ayala dreams but being a Shaw girl felt nice.

Super Bianca Blog

Happy Anniversary, Bianca G! :)

I am really inspired and can relate with the random thoughts in your blog. You're one of the reason why I put up my blog site, jezolores.blogspot.com. Some of my posts were versions of the stories you share. I honestly had a hard time choosing my favorite, because all posts has it's wonderful highlights. The times when I said "I feel for you!", "I wish I were on your shoe.", "I wanted to visit that country, too.", "I hope I can be an inspiration to others." after reading your blogs. Probably, the post that has great impact in me is "life talks part one: on purpose" dated 12 November 2007. Same with your experience, 4 years ago, I'm now into "quarter life crisis". I'm new into our work place and the people around me were older, wiser. Being with them gave me realizations, that when you grow up, you became more focus on your life's purpose and goals. When you question yourself if "is it still worth it?", "is it the right time, right moment?", "is it time for a change?", "should i go out of my comfort zone?". At 21, I felt the need to make my own decision, being responsible on my actions, and the willingness to take risks. Being aware on what's happening in the community, politics, social issues, and the like. The things you ignore when you were young eventually became an important part of your world. LIFE. I thank God for life. This statement from your blog is so true...“remember, every single person in the world has a different thumbprint. there are no two people alike, at all, in the whole world! GoD has a reason for doing that! because each and every one of us has our unique purpose in the world.” That post reminds me that "Life is amazing, I am amazing, and GOD is the most amazing!" It's real cool how he created our lives differently yet he made it connected to each other. God's people may not have the same social status, but he ensures that one will appreciate and became happy with the life that he gave. I remember a life talk with my office mate as we passed by a highway. He said "Bakit kaya ang tao hindi masatisfy sa buhay?" I answered "kasi kinocompare natin ang life natin sa mas higher satin." He told me "oo nga, nagrereklamo tayo dahil pagod tayo sa trabaho, pero di ba mas pagod yung mga street vendor na maghapon nagtatrabaho, but compare their sweldo to us, mas may karapatan sila magcomplain, pero di ba, tuloy ang buhay nila. He adds "halimbawa, tayong mga engineer, kapag sinabi natin na sa worker na pangit yang tiles na yan, palitan mo yan, tapos na yung work natin, may sweldo na tayo, pero sila magsisimula palang magtrabaho." That talk really moved me, and made me appreciate those people.   Though life is not perfect, God created us uniquely so we can bring joy, become an inspiration, teach lesson, and leave mark to each others lives. :)

As for the blog giveaway, I'd love to receive a party at McDonald's. I will give it to the kids of Treehouse Daycare. Treehouse is a volunteer team that gathers children from Muntinlupa every Saturday in Muntinlupa Fire Station for a half day of study, play, eat, fun activities. Those innocent kids, those innocent smiles, they made my life more meaningful and fulfilling. ;) I'd also love to receive the salon day with Alex Carbonell for my aunt. She is with me in the city since 1st year college up to now. She use to provide for my studies and was beside me through ups and tough times in the university because my parents were residing in the province. My aunt is indeed an example of a hardworking person. At 60, she still works almost 24/7, for the welfare of the special children and person with disabilities under Department of Education and at the same time in order to help her pamangkins and apos in financial needs. I hope I can give her the makeover package, that way, I can make her glad in a simple way.

I'd like to talk more, but I'm running out of time. Thanks Bianca! :)

Day 02 - The meaning behind your blog name

Breaking Free
Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens

Were soarin, flyin
Theres not a star in heaven
That we cant reach

If were trying
So were breaking free

You know the world can see us
In a way thats different than who we are

Creating space between us
Til were separate hearts

But your faith it gives me strength
Strength to believe

Were breakin free
Were soarin
Flyin
Theres not a star in heaven
That we cant reach
If were trying
Yeah, were breaking free
Oh, were breakin free
Ohhhh
Can you feel it building
Like a wave the ocean just cant control
Connected by a feeling
Ohhh, in our very souls
Rising til it lifts us up
So every one can see

Ohhhh runnin
Climbin
To get to that place
To be all that we can be
Nows the time
So were breaking free
Were breaking free
Ohhh , yeah

More than hope
More than faith
This is true
This is fate
And together
We see it comin
More than you
More than me
Not a want, but a need
Both:
Both of us breakin free

You know the world can see us
In a way thats different than who we are

From the soundtrack of the famous High School Musical, I chose BREAKING FREE as the title of my blog. My previous posts prove that I'm a true blooded Zanessa fanatic, but aside from that, I chose the said blog title because it speaks about positivity. I used to be the shy type, silent girl when I was younger, however, as I grow up, I learn to explore the things out of my comfort zone. I become the confident, optimistic, adventurous gal and I continue to be. Life is too amazing. Choose to break free, seize the day, and conquer your fears. Live, laugh, and love. Wink.

Encore: Breaking Free- Asian Version with my love, Ate Nix :))
