The Cs

What does it take for a relationship to be ideal? How do we measure if love is perfect or at least almost? The love story of Chris Tiu and Clarisse Ong has to be one the ideal romances I know.

Throwback to the day I saw The Cs in person. 08.19.2012

I am not much of a believer of young love destined to be married although I've met people with same stories. I don't have fate for puppy lovin' journey to forever until I knew the story of Clarisse and Chris or I may call the Cs. Clarisse is the first and only girlfriend of Chris and Chris is the first and only boyfriend of Clarisse. Is it ideal to love just one partner or is it better to experience heartbreak and learn from it until you found the one? We may have different opinion about it but for the Cs, having your first love as your last love is way too perfect.

I have too much admiration for the Cs because they managed to keep their love life private despite that Chris is a media personality. Even the wedding didn't came abuzz until 3 weeks after. They must have been careful enough not to announce the wedding because girls might crash the ceremony. Haha. Just kidding.

I know that one of the very reason why their relationship lasted is because of their value for chastity. I remember a friend told me that one secret of maintaining a long term relationship is because "Hindi pa nila ginagawa ang mga bagay na dapat ay pang mag-asawa lang". In that way, the couple will have something to reserve for marriage. The magic of honeymoon and the spark of it is just lovely. It's a matter of waiting for the right time, the right moment with the right person to make love. I remember reading an interview with Chris that he and her girlfriend never travel alone together and they weren't sharing bed during out of town. Such a gentleman. Another article I read told that Chris was turned off on pornography and has turned down an endorsement that will require him to bare his upper body. He grew up with values indeed. Lord, may duplicate ba sya? Hihi

The differences in values which is one of the causes of break up must not become a problem for the Cs. Both came from Chinese-Filipino family, born in the same generation, went in the same school, and sacred Catholic, it was easy for the Cs to understand each other. The same values and traditions they had has contribute to having a healthy, well-grounded relationship.

I wonder how far shall I go to meet the ideal man so we can start the ideal relationship. Gah, I feel old.

Tiu Shirt

I am randomly checking facebook when I found this.

The fan girl in me is smiling while saying, "I am getting one of these."

I am very interested because, just so you know I am currently experiencing #iamchristiufan syndrome. The shirts are special because of Chris Tiu's autograph including his jersey number. Especially, 17. Aaaaaw.

I am the first bidder for most of the shirts. I check Twitter once in a while to make sure I won't be outbid. I did't stop 'til I get one. And yey, I won! ☺ I communicate with W.E. Garage after the auction regarding the instructions of claiming the shirt.

Found the package in my drawer. ☺ Never mind the pending folder. Haha.

I received an email on Monday, settle the payment on Tuesday, wait for Wednesday to pass by, expect the shirt on Thursday, received the surprise on morning of Friday. Just in time for PBA Draft. Go Chris! ☺

Bloopers: I actually thought that the proceeds will be for saving white elephants, literally the animal.It was actually for the benefit of PAWS, courtesy of W.E. Garage and Chris Tiu.

PBA Rookie Draft 2012

Warning: Don't expect for sports enthusiast/basketball critique post. I am sharing my PBA Rookie Draft 2012 experience yesterday in Robinson's Midtown Manila. Forgive my fan girl post, but... I really adore Chris Tiu.

1. That moment when the Commissioner called the 6th Draft Pick for Ginebra: Chris.......... *Fans screaming* ......Ellis. Mr. Commissioner repeat his announcement, Chris Ellis. I was actually expecting Tiu to be called, because I am Ginebra fan back in grade school. Oh well.

2. The very reason why I decided to watch the PBA Rookie Draft live is to support Chris Tiu. I am very glad that he is happy with Rain or Shine Elastopainters. Welcome to PBA, Chris ElasTIU painter.

Mom with Pau Gasol , nope, Alex Mallari, because we weren't able to have a photo with Chris. Blurred din, fail.

3. When Mama, Papa, and brother join me in my fangirling. When Papa finds the perfect spot to watch the show, we are on left side near the stage and when he teases me everytime they mention Chris. When Mama is always at my back, holding my hands when we follow Chris for picture taking. Unfortunately, we haven't got one. When brother, gives trivia on PBA stars and hopefuls. Happy family bonding. I am actually expecting to come alone, but I am very lucky to have my family, full force, and supporting me for the love of Tiu.

4. We are all set to go home, and I already moved on for not being able to have a photo with Chris. But as we head to the exit, there's something going on in Friday's and looks like destiny let us meet again, Chris is still there. I struggle again to have a photo, but still failed. However, I'm very happy pa din. And I saw Clarisse Ong, pretty girl.

7. When Mama told me that she really likes Chris for me. Ay sorry, feeling ko lang yun. Haha. When Mama told me that Chris looks very mabait.

8. I am very happy also for the Adamson Boys. Lester Alvarez for Barako Bull, Janus Lozada for Meralco Bolts, Jerick Canada for Brgy. Ginebra, Jan Colina for Global Port. School pride, Falcon let's go. I was so touched when Canada's mom moved with tears of joy when his name was called.

9. I wonder what will be Chris Tiu's jersey number. :)
